Skinny Dipping

An attempted bath is interrupted by SNAKE.

Annabelle walks towards the beach from the airfield, a small satchel slung over her shoulder, humming a little tune as she walks.

Beach! Horray! Woods is wading, his boots nearby on the shore. A few cowries, a sand dollar and even a tiny bit of salvaged coral rest near the shoes as well. He seems cheery, and glances up in time to see Annabelle. He smiles and waves.

Annabelle smiles and waves back, altering her course to head towards Woods. "G'day, Vince," she greets once in range. She, too, is barefoot - boots dangling from the satchel suspended by their laces. "Collecting shells?'

Woods is cheery as usual, "Hello," He smiles. "Yeah, and poking about." He looks down, "No octopus today." Nod. This is good. "Saw little fish though, quick thing." He pauses, "How about you?" Trying to be thoughtful at least.

"You saw an octopus?" Anna asks, sounding both confused and intrigued. She smiles a bit at the mention of fish. "I'm all right, aye. I was just heading over to the river." She looks over. "Is that coral?"

"Uh huh, it had waggly tentacles," Woods replies, wiggling fingers for emphasis. He smiles, "I'm glad to hear that. And yeah, do you like coral? Some people polish it and make jewelry," He explains. He wanders closer, mindful not to step anything. "The river? Did you want company?" He seems a bit concerned, but not too much.

"Really? I've never seen an octopus. That's neat," Anna says, smiling a bit at the description. She nods to the question about coral. "Oh, aye, it's pretty. I didn't know you could make jewelry out of it. Wouldn't it be all… jaggedy?" Smiling at his concern, she clarifies, "It's actually a little stream off the river, behind the line." Safe-ish territory, in other words. "I umm…" she hesitates a bit before saying, "I was actually going to go and wash up a bit. If you wouldn't mind keeping a lookout for anyone who might wander by, I'd be very grateful." Apparently she's not concerned about Woods, filing him more in the 'brother' category.

Woods smiles and nods, "Yeah. Oh, yeah. That's why they polish it down first like stones," He tilts his head. "But some is pink, some is black." He seems to be pretty artistic when left to his own devices, it seems. "Oh that's good," He nods. THen a pause. Right, perverts. Probably a hazard when you're one of the few ladies. He doesn't seem to be offended he's neatly in the brother category. "Sure," He nods. He smiles and moves to pick up his boots and shells. He blushes a bit though. Whoops.

Kappedal arrives from the South.

Annabelle nods at the explanation. "Och, I didn't realize you could polish it down that much. Grand." She and Woods are standing on the beach, both barefoot. Woods has some shells, Anna has a satchel from which her boots are dangling. She smiles awkwardly, noticing the blush. "Thanks, aye. So many blokes about - I'd hate to have someone stumble in." Accidental perverts are almost as bad. She nods her head towards the west once he's picked up his things. "It's just this way."

"Yeah. I wish I had a way to polish it," He shrugs and smiles. Woods follows, cargo in tow. "It's understandable, lots of people come and go to the aid station." Although, it may be somewhat tragic Woods can think of at least two purposeful pervs. Woods is following Anna to the river, to keep guard against pervs! He has shells and a sand dollar in hand too. He's following, cheerily. "Got it." He nods. Safe river good.

Yahzee strolls along the beach, along, rifle held in his arms as his eyes search the open sand ahead as well as the jungle vines market the growth at the edge.

Kappedal's boots crunch softly on beach sand. He has a flashlight with him but it's not on yet, not /quite/ dark enough to need that. With operations constantly in motion from the airfield to the ships bobbing out there in the darkening ocean, he often walks along this area with bandages and antiseptic, in the event someone's cut themselves or worse on patrol. His arms' no longer in a sling, though his right hand is still firmly wrapped from palm to elbow to keep his wrist from moving.

Annabelle leads Woods down the beach to the west, moving parallel to the airfield. She nods to him and wonders, "What does it take to polish it?" Seeing Yahzee coming from ahead of them, she lifts a hand to wave. "G'day, Yahzee." Ben she hasn't seen yet.

Yahzee smiles to the nurse, "Howdy, ma'am. And you can call me Garret. Seen enough of me helping out as a nurse." He falls in with the others, still holding the rifle as if keeping watch for Japanese ambushers.

Woods smiles. Ben and Yahzee? Horray! He grins, and waves to Kappedal. "And there's Ben. I'm not sure, I was going to ask around. It's pretty hard though, if I figure it out, you can have some beads." Nod. Respect the lady and - hey, beads are kind of cool. He follows Annabelle easily. "At this rate though, you may have enough of us to hold up blankets and have a wall." A smile.

A gaggle of Marines. "Hey Vince. Garrett…" Kappedal's blue eyes squint at the third figure as he comes to a stop, fingers brushing a little sand out of his brows where the wind kicked it. "Oh, Anna! What are you doing out here?"

Annabelle chuckles awkwardly to Woods. "Didn't really want to cause a fuss," she notes. Then her attention is on Yahzee. "Garret, it is," Anna agrees with a ready smile. "But you shall have to call me Anna, then." Apparently only the creepy ones get the Mrs. Clark routine. "G'day, Ben," she greets him as well. "I, umm…" she hesiates a little before admitting. "I was just going to the stream over there to get washed up a bit. Vince was going to keep a lookout for me."

Yahzee adds a smile over to Woods, nodding to him as he moves closer. "How're you feeling buddy? You were hit pretty bad in the battle." Aside he asks the Navy corpsman as well, "Your hand better, Kap?" He remains respectful of Annabelle, not moving within her imaginary space. "Anna it'll be."

It is indeed, a gaggle! Woods smiles at Kappedal. He tilts his head. "You're really not causing any fuss," He smiles at Annabelle. No bother! Yahzee gets a smile and a grin, "Yeah. I'm good now. They patched me right up." He taps his chest gently. He nods at Annabelle at the mention of being kept lookout. "Yup! I was collecting shells earlier. I thought I might find Tavua and go fishing sometime too."

"Oh, okay." Kappedal doesn't seem to find Anna's explanation embarassing, nor her detailing of Woods' part in this conspiracy. "Don't worry, nothing gets by Vince." He shoots the Marine in question a grin and then turns his shoulder a bit, casually shifting so his line of sight doesn't include Annabelle anymore. "I'm good, Garrett. Seen Jenkins? I heard doc released him last night."

Yahzee shakes his head to respond to Kappedal first. "Naw. Not seen 'im. Been along the Yali river, east, stationed there." He grunts softly. "Heard they think the Japs are sendin' in reinforcements there. Lots. Our navy must be stretched thin or somethin."

"Oh he did?" Anna asks of Jenkins. "That's grand. Glad he's doing better." She smiles at Woods' reassurance, and then gives a little head-jerk in the direction they were going. "We'll be just over there," she says to the other two lads, before starting off again.

A soft laugh at that, "I-" Woods blushes. He grins a little. He smiles at Ben. "Yeah, I thought he was released too," Woods comments quietly. He's still faintly blushing, as he follows. he waves to the other two. "Be back!" He calls cheerily. No peeking from him, no ma'am! Woods is lost in thought, although he smiles at Yahzee as he goes. "See you soon." Nodnod.

"Seems to be getting thicker out there, yeah," Kappedal says back to Yahzee. His fingers creep under the brim of his helmet, scratching sweat-damp curls over his ear. "Been saying for a while they think something's building up over there." He gives a nod to Woods and Anna. They'll keep remote watch over hurr on the beach, yo. "Tried it from the west, now they'll try it from the east."

Yahzee turns his head to look to Kappedal, just making some nasal hrmph of a noise and adding a faint shrug. A look back adds a nod to Woods, offering a simple casual hint of a smile to go with it. "See you." and lingers the look for just a moment to the two departing. Back to the Navy man, "Least we have the destroyer out there." nodding out to where a single transport/landing craft tender and one escort destroyer are visible on the horizon during daylight hours. "Can call in a barrage from her if we spot any big movement."

Annabelle leads the way into the jungle, to a stream that has branched off from the main river nearby. It's not too far from the beach, but enough out of sight to be discreet. The stream backs up into a little pool, which is where Anna's headed. "Appreciate you doing this, Vince," she tells him again.

Woods follows Anna, resembling perhaps a puppy. Woods smiles, "Think nothing of it." A headshake. He tucks his shells into a pocket, looking around here and there, almost habitually. "It's a nice river, anyway." He murmurs. He isn't gonna peek, no way!

Kappedal turns his head towards the dark water, watching it for a while. The silence is long enough to call an end to that train of thought, and when he speaks again it has the air of a definite non-sequitur. "Garrett? Can I ask you a question?"

Yahzee turns to look out towards the dark water as well, the nighttime breeze of the seashore prominantly felt. "Sure" offered after a moment of silence, keeping his eyes out to the ocean. "What is on your mind?" in his typical rural southwestern way of speaking slowly, as if English is a second language.

Annabelle nods. "Aye. 'Tis a beautiful place, on the whole. Before the Nips came." Shaking off those dark thoughts, she motions Vince to a spot. "Here's good, aye." She continues on to the pool, setting down her satchel and stripping down to just her underclothes. Not that she doesn't trust Vince, but you never know when another gaggle of marines might come stomping by. There's a quiet splash as she gets into the pool and then she continues on the conversation, "There's so many different birds and animals here. It's amazing, really."

"That it is," Woods agrees quietly. He seems to take to it. He stays faithfully at the spot and turns away to keep a watch out. He smiles a little, spotting a parrot go by. Parrot! "It is, I think I like the parrots most." He doesn't seem to mind continuing the conversation, it's quite pleasant! He respectfully keeps his gaze away and watching for any passersby. Very digilent, ayup. Bright green eyes consider the horizon before him.

It's much like the way Kappedal speaks. Though their accents are undoubtedly different. He keeps his voice down, but his curiosity is both neutral and unabashedly blunt. "Are you a negro?"

Yahzee turns his head to give Kappedal a surprised look, one cheek sucking in as that eye squints. "A negro?" and blinks. "Some folks ask me if I'm a Mexican, but never had one confusin' me for a negro before." He coughs out his breath, shaking his head after that. "No, my family's Dine' people. Navajo indian, the feds call us." A another deep look down to Kappedal, the two young men about the same age but Yahzee's frame somewhat broader and taller. "I've seen a negro before. Don't look nothin like us."

Yahzee does add, breaking off the nervousness with a hint of a jest, "Your hair looks more like a negro's hair than mine. All curly like that."

Quiet splashing and scrubbing from the pool. Anna's hair is long, and having to wash it in a basin behind a curtain in the aid station is awkward, to say the least. She smiles at the mention of the parrots. "Never would've imagined you could teach them so many words so fast. They're quite adorable. I was always partial to the monkeys. There were a few that hung about the village near the mission." Birds, monkeys, fish - there's all sorts of wildlife here. Including one lone snake, who decides to slither across the jungle floor in front of Woods, heading for a nearby tree.

"Those sound interesting too," A smile. "I don't think they are learning from just me since they stay in or near the aid station. Just hope they stay away from the Captain or they'll learn all kinds of swears," He laughs softly. Woods smiles. "I really like them." Nod. "THe plants are-" *SQUEAK* He looks around and - and then he stops the snake. His eyes go wide as saucers. This isn't just panic, it's a full on phobia. He makes another feeble squeaking noise. Stare. It's a snake. S.n.a.k.e. With beady eyes, a forked tongue, it goes phhbtphhbtphhbt and it will ENVENOMATE him.

There's a long, long pause. Then Woods lets forth the girliest scream one could think of from a Marine. "Snaaaaaaaaaaake!" He runs a little circle, blissfully ignoring Annabelle.

Kappedal doesn't seem the least bit embarassed by his own ignorance. Apparently the conclusion made sense to him. "Does it? I've only seen one negro before, in boot. And his head was shaved." He shrugs, lacing his hands behind his neck. "I didn't know there were other people that were so dark. I have never heard of that. Dine'. Is it a…" He grasps for a word, about to come up with one when that scream pierces the air. His hand shoots down instinctively to his pistol as he twists on the ball of his foot, calling out. "Anna?!"

Yahzee starts to respond to Kappedal, then hears the sharp scream and whips around with his rifle raised with the Marine eyeing down the iron sights. Quick jerky movements as if by reflex taking aim at anything moving in the darkness at the direction of the stream. "What happened? You allright?" called out loud over as no indications of fighting are seen.

Tavua arrives from the South.

"Your Captain is quite a… colorful fellow, aye," Anna agrees readily. She lets out her own startled yelp at the scream. Not bothered in the least by the snake itself, but more by Woods' reaction to it. She scrambles to the edge of the pool, but is still in the water. Wide brown eyes watch Woods scramble about. "What is it? Did it bite you?" she asks in alarm, scanning to see the offending snake.

Annabelle doesn't answer Ben or Yahzee directly, but they can probably hear her yell to Woods.

Flailflailflail. Woods is still running circles, around the snake. "It'sgonnaeatmegetitaway!" Woods stops, stares in horror and /kicks/ the offending snake into the air. Then wails again, "Now it's flying!" He runs from it. He's deep in the throes of a phobic attack. Poor Woods has tears in his eyes. It's gonna eat hiiiiiiiim. He's oblivious to what's going on around him, now shivering and looking in horror. Where DID that flying snake go? "It'sgoingtoeatmeImadeitmad," Mumblemumble.

Setting: Kappedal and Yahzee seem to've been standing at the beach, but now they're turned with weapons drawn towards the east where there's a thicket of jungle where a small stream used for bathing or drinking is known to the natives. Woods and Annabelle's voices are heard from that direction.

Tavua is paddling to shore in a little dugout canoe, a scowl on his face as he sees all the Marines whooping and hollering, scaring the fishies! Beaching his canoe, he gets out, padding up the beach to see what all the fuss is aboot.

And just moments ago, a piercing scream of SNAAAAAKE!

Kappedal is now far less concerned about needing a rifle than about possibly needing some sort of medical intervention. "That's, uh. Vince," he says, a leeeeetle drily. Glance at Yahzee, then he winces and starts off at a quick run towards the stream area, Anna's abused privacy be damned. "Vince!"

Yahzee gives a quick, "Hrmm" to the navy medic, and lowers the rifle somewhat to start breaking into a sprint towards the grove with the stream as well. "Hey Woods! You hurt?" called out as he hurries over, athletic enough to gain speed while still hauling a rifle. Eyes glance aside spotting Tavua's canoe coming ashore, but doesn't seem to show any concern in that direction. "Get bit?" called again in the direction he's going with Kappedal.

Woods' hysterics are enough to get Anna out of the water. At least she still has her skivvies on. In the dim jungle light, the clothes are about as good as a bikini. She blinks as the snake goes flying, but does manage to get a look at it. "Vince, calm down," she says, trying to catch him on his next circle past. "It's all right, just a blacksnake. It's not poisonous. You're all right, mate."

Tavua sees Annabelle in her skivvies, AHHH SCARRED FOR LIFE!!! A little roll of his eyes as he hears snake, trudging towards Woods, a frown on his face. If Woods did get bitten afterall, he'd be flopping on the ground doing the funky chicken.

"IT FLIES! They shouldn't fly!" Woods flails. He is in tears now, the sufferer of a full blown phobia. It's pathological to react this way. Sob. "It's gonna eat me," He doesn't like snakes one little bit. Sniffff. "No, I'm fine, but there's a snake!" He's coming down at least, seeing the snake has gone out of visual range. "I think it's gone, but maybe it's waiting till I sleep." Then, THEN it will go phhbtphhbtphhbt and get revenge. Nooooooo. "Ack, you're not supposed to be here, she's bathing," Mumble. People! He lets himself get stopped by Anna, sniffling. "It's not? Ok…"

Kappedal seems to be of the same silent opinion as Tavua, his steps slowing immediately once it's apparent that Woods is still moving around. Negative on the emergency front. He puffs out air as the two of them come crashing into the stream area, shaking a thick vine off his ankle. "Vince. Shhh!" He hisses quietly. "Stop yelling, or the next snakes through here might have Nip rifles with them. Are you alright? It didn't get you, did it?" Anna's state of undress hasn't occured to him yet.

Yahzee lowers the gun as he races to Woods, "Hey, c'mon pal." more softly, closing in to stand beside the smaller man. He halts there, spotting Annabelle's state of dress. "Sorry" offered quickly, turning to look away and more towards Woods. "Snakes are scared off easy, less you surprise 'em. If it ain't bit you yet, it's sliding away into some cover I bet."

Woods in tears. Aww, that's just plain heartbreaking. Anna tries to slip an arm around Woods' back for a halfway hug, about all she dares to attempt dressed as she is. "There now, mate, it's all right. He's gone now. You scared him off. He'll not be coming back." She nods in agreement with Yahzee, then blinks and realizes that there are other people here now as well. Eeek! The young woman turns beet red, but doesn't flee right away. Not until she's sure Woods is all right. She avoids looking at the other soldiers. It's like an ostrich game - if she doesn't see them, they won't see her, right?

Tavua smirks at Woods, "Snake taste good, where he go?" he inquires, taking out his katana, starting to walk about the busy, heeere snakey snakey snakey!

"Ack, I'm sorry… I dunno why that happens when I see snakes," Woods admits. Half hug, woot! He accepts it and returns it. "I think I scared most things. Umm. Guys, I'm sorry…" He blushes. "It's ok. It's fine, didn't bite me. We should let Anna have some privacy," He stammers wiping at his face, "I really should talk to someone about that-" He admits, mumbling. He coughs. Then a grin at Tavua. He points, "I kind of kicked it that way…" He seems amused Tavua is going to eat it. You show that snake, Tav! He takes a deep breath. "Sorry."

Yahzee draws in a deep breath, seeing Woods allright and being half-hugged by a woman in wet undergarments. "Umm. So you're okay, right?" to the young man who'd been quite alarmed. A nod to the suggestion about leaving Anna some privacy, but his eyes seem quite active as if having to force himself not to look to her more closely. "Should go back." he declares, sucking his breath in and adjusting the helmet on his head. A start to add something else but he begins to trudge off.

Kappedal glances at the jungly underbrush as Tavua starts hunting for the thing. The thought of eating something like that makes him look pensive for a second, then he lets off a quiet breath and looks back at Woods. And…Anna. Whoa, hey there wet underwear lady. His ears flush slightly red and he quickly turns halfway around again, clearing his throat. "Uh…yoh, if you're alright. We'll…uh. Just. There." Walking, he is. Walking away.

Tavua gives up his search, putting his katana away, grumbling. He dosen't seem to mind Anna being in her underwear, I mean really, all the girls in the village are bare-breasted anyways! He pads back towards Annabelle and Woods, "He gone." he declares solemnly.

"No worries, Vince. Everyone's got something that they're really afraid of," Anna assures him. The ostrich routine isn't working so well, though, as she notices Ben and Yahzee's reactions. Looking rather mortified, she mumbles, "I'm just going to…umm…there." She picks up her satchel and pedals over behind a tree to change clothes.

"I feel awful now, people came over because I screamed," Woods blushes. "I owe you one…" He coughs a little. He takes a deep breath and looks to Tavua with a smile, "Thanks. I feel really silly. I guess it was just - um, a regular ole snake…" Yeah. Fidget. He looks thoroughly chagrinned. Awkwardness.

Tavua grins, waggling a finger at Woods, "Make more noise, scare them away. More scared of you than you of they." he instructs, chuckling a little.

Kappedal finds a tree to stand near, that's sufficiently out of the stream area that it's not horribly awkward. Well, any /more/ horribly awkward, anyway. He laces his hands behind his neck and exhales, looking up at the starts starting to shine in the south Pacific sky.

Annabelle shakes her head, though the gesture is lost behind the tree. "Nonsense, you were doing me a favor anyway. And aye, Tavua's right. Unless you see a brown one with a little head. Then run away because those ones are right nasty."

That would involve /looking/ at the snake. Woods flinches then smiles, not seeming to mind the finger waggle. "Hope so -" Shiver. "Awful things," He shakes his head. "I'm glad to see you Tavua. Were you fishing? I wanted to try that sometime…" He murmurs. He takes a deep breath. "Anyway, um. Miss Anna wants to take a bath. I should turn back around." Which he does!

Tavua laughs, "Bathe in the ocean? You have to scrape salt off!" he chides, shaking his head, "River better.. or lagoon… clean water." he insists, not mentioning the malaria problems or other sickness.

Kappedal stays quiet, if only out of awkwardness. He remains where he is on the perimeter, a shoulder leaned against the tree and eyes turned up towards the stars.

Annabelle comes out from behind the tree, dressed again but still barefoot. There's a towel over her shoulders to catch the water from her long hair. "Actually it was that pool back there, not the ocean," she clarifies to Tavua, before adding. ~River too dangerous. Not know any lagoon nearby.~ "It's all right, Vince, I'm all finished."

Woods smiles at Tavua, "Yeah. I like to wade but…" He shrugs. He blushes deeply. "I still feel awful. I'm sorry," He shakes his head. "I um… would like to go fishing Tavua, and um, learn more - and uh- try not to scream when I see snakes," He blushes and looks down.

Tavua smiles and nods to Woods, "Sure sure, not hard. Just have to know the spots." he chuckles, "Ah know'em all." he says with a beaming smile, obviously looking quite confident in himself.

Kappedal hears the all-clear call to Vince. He moves his shoulder, rolling against the tree trunk until his back's to it instead, and he can see the three talking again.

"It's all right, mate," Anna assures him once again, though her cheeks are still flushed. She stuffs the wet and dirty clothes back into the satchel and starts walking back up towards where Ben is. She gives him an embarrassed half-smile but says nothing.

Woods smiles back at Tavua, "That'd be fantastic. I bet." He believes in the chief! Although Tavua could tell Woods he breathes fire and Woods just might believe it. He's less panicked now, calmed down. Mostly embarrassed. "I think I owe Anna a peaceful bath at some point though. Maybe I'll hold up a curtain and be braver around the snake." Cough. He smiles meekly at Ben too.

Kappedal smiles back at them, burying any lingering embarassment under the cover of dimples. "Garrett had to go back," he says quietly. "Everything alright now?"

Tavua laughs, "We should leave her." he says, wanting to give Anna at least a smidgin of privacy. "We go back to camp? I show you how to make a net?"

Annabelle nods to Ben. "Aye, all sorted." There's a moment's awkward pause before she says, "Thanks. For coming to help." She quickly steers away from that topic by asking. "Are you headed back to the aid station, or…"

Woods blushes. "Yeah, haha, I'm sorry. I've never kicked a snake before," He admits with a grin. "Sure, I'd like that," A smile at Tavua. A pause. Somehow, the idea of a snake punted seems less threatening. He rubs the back of his head.

"I think so," Kappedal replies to Anna. His eyes glance towards the horizon, then back at her and the others. A slight grin. "Wouldn't want doc to have a fit or anything."

"Aye, certainly not. I'll walk back with you?" Anna asks/offers, nodding back in that direction. "Didn't know Vince was so afraid of snakes," she says.

Affix the bow of shame to Vince! Woods blushes at the afraid comment again. "Making a net sounds really cool," Vince smiles at Tavua. "What kinds of fish do you catch?" He looks over.

Tavua nods to Anna, "Aye." he says, shrugging to Woods, "Big ones, small ones…. shells too." he smiles, grinning, "But meat inside them."

"I knew someone who was afraid of rabbits," Kappedal offers with a smile, very goodnaturedly. "And someone who'd scream at moths. At least snakes /might/ be dangerous, right?" He starts walking once the party's ready.

Ooops. Anna didn't realize Woods was standing right behind them. She looks back, guility, when Tavua speaks. "I'm not very fond of those centipedes, myself." And she screams like a girl when they're bombed, but she's certainly not bringing that memory up, as much for her own sake as Ben's. "And aye, though most of the snakes 'round here are harmless. You just have to watch out for the brown ones with little heads."

Woods is calmed now, still somewhat embarrassed. "Awesome. I'd be honored then. That sounds neat. Fish are pretty tasty and shells are fun. I wish I knew something I could teach, but-" But Woods is young and alas, a city slicker! "I really have no idea why I'm afraid of snakes. When I was really little, one fell on my head and I ran around screaming, it was kind of scary," Woods admits. Woods will follow along happily. "Yeah… I guess there's worse things to be afraid of. Still…" Blush.

Tavua nods, "Well, I off to bed." he grumbles, skunked on the fishing bit, THANKYOUVERYMUCH WOODS!

"Good night," Kappedal offers to Tavua, at that announcement. "Shalom aleichem." he glances over his shoulder at Woods and grins. "One fell on your head? Maybe it just wanted a kiss."

"That'd scare me, for sure," Anna says sympathetically when Woods tells his story. ~Sleep well.~ Anna offers to Tavua.

Woods, the master of wildlife - scaring fish, punting snakes and educating parrots! His eyes go wide at Kappedal's kiss comment. Noooooooooooooooooooo. Horror! "See you Tavua, rest well," Woods smiles and waves. Poor Tavua. Woods ponders, "Guess I'll get a nap in before I go to watch. See you guys." Smile. "I still owe Anna one." He waves and will trundle off.

fade.
